Amazed Again
…I’ve been a fan of Animusic for some time. (Indeed, when I first discovered the animated music video series, I drove friends crazy by playing them over and over again.)
Well here’s one I’d never seen before and it reminded me why I loved the originals so much. I seldom want to cheer at the end of a music video, but this one… well, check it out for yourself.
Although we can’t claim for the brilliance here, it is true that we conceived Be My Guest as a platform to bring you work from amazing artists that we see all over. Hope you’ll tune in.

Rob Fetters‘ “Desire” provides a comical and cosmic base for the adventures of this little robot.
If you’re inspired to tell your own story by watching this, you might want to be at the San Francisco 48 Hour Film Project premieres next week. They’ll be at the Clay Theater, and what you’ll be seeing is a collection of films created in just two days by San Francisco indie filmmakers. You’re sure to be amazed.
It might be the next step in registering yourself to tell a story to a packed house audience.
All By Myself (really)
Most of us have a secret wish. Only occasionally is it to be alone in an airport overnight.
Richard Dunn did have that wish and he took full advantage of the opportunity.

One thing this project proves is that with a simple, clear idea, some hard work, and a tool like an iPhone, you can tell a great story and have a blast doing it.
This is what it’s like to make a 48 Hour Film Project movie. The best ones, and the ones that do well with audiences and judges are simple, clear, and well executed.

San Francisco 48HFP Dates
It’s here again. A chance for San Francisco (and area) filmmakers to show what they’ve got. Each summer for the past 10 years, San Francisco has hosted one of the oldest and largest time-based filmmaking competitions in the world. It’s happening again.
This year, the competition weekend is June 6-8, and the completed films will be seen at the Clay Theater between June 16th and 19th. PanReality Media is seeking a communications director to start immediately.
We do a lot, just the two of us
This is a part-time position with very flexible working conditions, designed to fit the schedule of someone with a full time job elsewhere. Compensation package consists of significant equity in a vigorous emerging media company comprised of, and owned by, a troupe of talented performers and media professionals.
Duties include: managing social media marketing campaigns, collateral design and distribution systems to coordinate with our live and recorded shows, overseeing our fan contact base, and the creation of business communications for both internal and external audiences.
Necessary skills include – very strong writing skills, aptitude for working with online distributed authoring tools (Google Apps), and a solid understanding of key social media platforms. Self-directed work habits are required, and the ability to understand and act in accordance with key stakeholder concerns.
The position allows work from home, from a remote office, or from the road. It does not require travel, but may afford opportunity for travel as the company grows.
